About WellWishes

A small team in Aotearoa building the registry we wanted at our own weddings.

We started WellWishes because cash registries felt awkward and gift-list registries felt dated. The couples we know want help with a honeymoon or a deposit on a first home. They do not need another set of tea towels.

So we made a registry that looks like a wedding invitation rather than a checkout flow. Couples add their own photos and words and the design stays out of the way.

We charge a one-off $52 fee when you start your registry. On each gift you choose who covers the fees: your guests, you or split between you. The pricing page shows a worked example for all three modes.

We're based in Aotearoa New Zealand. Customer support replies come from a real person (usually Andrew) and they're signed with a first name. If something has gone wrong write to hello@wellwishes.co.nz and we'll sort it out with you directly.

What we're not

A marketplace. We don't take a cut of your gifts to fund advertising.
A SaaS dashboard. Your dashboard shows gifts, messages and your balance rather than a metrics console.
A platform for upsells. Once you've published we stay out of the way.
