What is WellWishes?
Someone you know is celebrating and they have sent you their registry. WellWishes is the small New Zealand company behind that page. We give couples a way to ask for cash gifts without it feeling awkward.
Most couples already have a full kitchen. What they are saving for is usually a honeymoon or a deposit on a first home. A wellwish is a cash gift towards one of those things. Instead of a cardboard wishing well or a bank account number on the invitation your gift arrives with your name and your message beside it.
The couple made that page
The couple built the registry that brought you here. They chose the photos, wrote the words and picked every gift on the page.
Stripe handles your payment securely. It is the same payment provider used by companies like Amazon and Google. Your money goes to the couple with your name and message alongside the gift.
The people behind it
WellWishes is made by Andrew and Amanda, a couple in Aotearoa New Zealand. While planning our own wedding we spent a lot of time on details like the invitations and the playlist. Getting those small things right made the day feel like ours.
Then we got to gifts and the usual options did not match the rest of the day. So we built WellWishes.
